- After subscribing, we'll set you up with a personal Plane.so board within an hour. Once you accept the invite, you'll be ready to start submitting automation requests. We'll also provide simple instructions on how to use the board to streamline the process.
- Who will be working on my requests?
- NorthStack is led by our founder, Deric Yee, who will personally guide our in-house team through every step of the automation process. We don't outsource—everything is built by our expert team.
- Is there a limit to how many automation requests I can make?
- Nope! Once you're subscribed, you can add as many requests as you need. We'll work through them one at a time.
- Can I pause my subscription?
- Yes! If you don't have enough automation work to fill an entire month, you can pause your subscription at any time. For example, if you subscribe and use the service for 21 days, then decide to pause, your billing cycle will stop, and you'll still have 10 days of service left to use whenever you need it.
- What if I need a large-scale automation project?
- For bigger projects—like full business process automation or AI-driven workflows—we break things down into manageable phases. You'll receive progress updates every few days until everything is fully implemented.
- What tools and technologies do you use?
- We use a variety of automation and AI tools, including Python, Node.js, Zapier, Make.com, OpenAI, and many more, depending on your business needs.
- Do you work with GitHub?
- Yes, we can work with new or existing repositories. We'll set up the workflow during onboarding to match your preferences.
- Is this better than hiring in-house?
- Yes. In-house hiring is expensive and risky. Our subscription model costs less, delivers faster results, and offers more flexibility with the ability to pause or cancel anytime.
- Is support always available?
- Yes, our team provides round-the-clock support with the option to schedule calls when needed.
- How do I submit my automation requests?
- We keep it flexible! You can submit a request directly in Plane.so, share a Google Doc with instructions, upload process flowcharts or wireframes, or record a quick Loom video explaining the task you need automated. If it can be shared in Plane.so, we can work with it.
- What if I'm not happy with the automation?
- No worries! We'll continue refining it until you're completely satisfied.
- Are there any types of requests you don't handle?
- Yes, we don't work on hardware-based automation (like robotics or IoT devices), AI solutions that require heavy regulation in finance or healthcare, or black-hat automation (spam bots, unauthorized data scraping, etc.).
- Can I sign up just for a single automation request?
- Yes! If you only need one automation, you can pause your subscription after it's completed and return whenever you need more.
- Do you offer refunds?
- We stand by the quality of our work, so refunds are only available within the first week of service. Completed work is non-refundable.
- Can I subscribe for just one month?
- Absolutely. Whether you need automation for a month or long-term, you're free to cancel and return whenever you need more automation solutions.
- How does AI agent development work?
- If you need an AI-powered chatbot, a data-processing assistant, or an automated customer support system, we can build and deploy it as part of your request. Once completed, full ownership is transferred to you, so you can manage it independently without needing an ongoing subscription.
- What is Automations as a Service?
- Our Automations as a Service offering provides custom automation solutions that streamline your business processes. We handle everything from workflow automation to AI integration, helping you reduce manual tasks and scale efficiently.
- Why not hire a developer directly?
